The panel included James Chanos, president of $2.5 billion hedge fund firm Kynikos Associates; Kate Warne, investment strategist at brokerage Edward Jones, which oversees $888 billion; Deven Parekh, managing partner at Insight Venture Partners, a tech-focused venture capital firm that has raised over $13 billion; Savita Subramanian, head of U.S. equity and global quantitative strategy at BofA Merrill Lynch, which has $1.9 trillion under management; and Shawn Driscoll, portfolio manager of T.
